Visiting Mingun is a journey to the past of Myanmar and its traditions as you walk through its ruins dotted with monuments, such as the Incomplete Stupa which, according to belief, when completed, would bring about the end of the Burmese Empire. Even so, it has the honor of being recognized as the largest pile of bricks in the world. But that is not the only record of Mingun. Although the Kremlin Bell is the largest in the world, it is cracked, which makes the Mingun Bell the largest functioning bell in the world.
"Once the Mingun Bell was completed, the King ordered the execution of its artisan so that it could not be replicated"
Another impressive monument you will find when visiting Mingun is the Hsinbyume Pagoda, which was constructed after the death of a Burmese princess and attempts to emulate the famous Mount Meru from Buddhist mythology. And on the banks of the Ayeyarwady River, the Chinthes statues, half-lion, half-dragon guardians, are so imposing that they will make you tremble even though their forms have been blurred by erosion and the passage of time. Come experience Mingun and answer the call of its great bell!

I like to explore off the beaten path, where the known lacks mystery. Traveling alone allows me to discover remote places, enjoy landscapes, and learn from local communities. I am a free spirit who follows his impulses and enjoys every moment, choosing destinations without hesitation, as each place has its own soul.
